The thought of Capella in Signapore might at first strike one as slightly odd. What I liked:
its like living in a jungle resort 5minutes from downtown Singapore. Its full of birdlife including the hotels own tame peacocks

What I liked:
This was our second stay in six months. This time we were upgraded to a pool villa. The spacious villa was beautiful and the whole resort still fabulous. Lovely food again in the Chinese Restaurant - and very pleasant efficient staff. We are booked to return again in February 2012. By far the best hotel we have enjoyed in Singapore. Just love the peacocks roaming freely around the resort.
What the hotel could do better:
Make the hotel a NON smoking hotel.
Also, if there is a function in the hotel you should advise the hotel guests which venues are off limits. We got told off by a wedding guest (in no uncertain terms) that the bar was shortly being used for a wedding and that we should leave immediately. We didn't see a sign on the door.
Perhaps some of the pools should be made kid free?

What I liked:
The hotel is a nice gateaway from the city. It felt like I was staying in a hotel in Bali or Phuket. We stayed both at a seaview room and a pool villa and both were great with different charms.
What the hotel could do better:
Nothing, had a wonderful stay!
