Charleston Place is in the heart of one of the most romantic cities in the USA, Charleston, South Carolina. The 440 rooms and suites are superbly appointed with traditional furnishings and marble baths. Upon arrival, you are instantly transported to a magical, timeless place, surrounded by narrow cobblestone streets, horse-drawn carriages, charming antique stores, fine restaurants, sophisticated galleries and spectacular antebellum homes.

Charleston Place offers limitless opportunities for sports and leisure enthusiasts ranging from golf to eco adventure. A sub tropical climate allows for year round outdoor activities. From the front door of the hotel, guests can enjoy leisurely strolls or inspiring jogging routes through some of the most beautifully preserved antebellum architecture in the USA, or opt to take a short drive to the Plantations to enjoy the flora and wildlife.

For golfers, there are more than 20 courses in the area, including, the legendary Kiawah, Wild Dunes and the new Arnold Palmer signature course at Rivertowne. For beach over, a 15-minute drive puts you on pristine white sand beaches perfect for kayaking, fishing, sailing, surfing or simply watching dolphins play.

On property, The Spa at Charleston Place ensures guests can relax and stay in shape. Facials, pedicures, manicures, a full range of exotic body scrubs and wraps, hot stone and aroma therapies, shiatsu, Thai, neuromuscular, sports and pregnancy massage are all available.

The Spa also features a horizon edged swimming pool with a retractable glass roof, spacious Jacuzzi, steam rooms, children's splash pool and rooftop tennis court. The Spa's gym is equipped with free weights and state-of-the-art Cyber, Life Fitness and Stairmaster cardio machines. Professional trainers are on-hand to provide instruction, as well as to lead classes in aerobics, body sculpting, yoga and even power walking through the historic district.

Guests over the age of 18 are considered adults. Some rooms accommodate 3 or more. The "Executive" room sleeps up to 4 guests. For crib/cot, must book "Executive" room or larger. For 2 adults + rollaway bed, must book "n/a" or larger. For 2 adults + 2 kids beyond crib age, must book "Executive" room or larger. Connecting rooms available. Can be confirmed upon reservation.

Cribs are available and may be subject to an additional fee. No additional charges for kids beyond crib/roll-away.

Fenced in pool available that allows kids. Babysitting services provided by screened hotel personnel at US$20 per hour. The restaurant is kid-friendly with high chairs and a kids menu. Room service offers a kids menu.
