Important information about traveling with kids:

Some hotels may charge extra for a rollaway bed or a crib - depending upon age. This possible extra charge is not always displayed by the hotel to appear with the list of available rates offered.

In order to make sure that you see the exact rate that you will be charged for an accommodation for more than 2 adults, it is best to double-check by emailing us at customer service with your dates and the ages of your children. We will be happy to confirm rates and availability for you.

We now have a new service dedicated to those Tablet Hotels users traveling with children that searches only the verified kid-friendly hotels. Search TabletKids Hotels

Paris is a city that’s not short on dazzlement, whether it’s the sights or the hotels themselves. But equally as precious as the grand old palace hotels are those rare boutiques that combine contemporary style and intimate atmosphere with a relatively modest rate — boutiques like the Clarion Collection Opera Pavillon, a well-kept Tablet secret since it re-opened a decade back under the Pavillon de Paris name.

With just thirty rooms the Pavillon is nobody’s idea of a grand hotel — neither, though, is it a desperately funky “lifestyle boutique” or even a “design hotel” of the sort that’s now increasingly familiar. Instead it’s the kind of boutique hotel that’s perhaps uniquely appealing in a city whose street life is so vibrant — this is a stylish little bolthole, with an atmosphere that’s intimate, almost clubby.

Of course in this town the real luxury trappings are reserved for the hotels at the rarefied high end of the market. But guests of the Opera Pavillon are hardly suffering — though the rooms are small, at their best they’re cozy rather than cramped, and there’s nothing a cup of tea in the afternoon or a cocktail in the charming little bar won’t fix.
