The Conrad is world-class luxury and a strong candidate for the best business hotel in Brussels. There is nothing particularly subtle about it; beneath the nineteenth-century facade is an absolutely modern hospitality experience in the grandest of styles.

An impeccable business hotel, the Conrad is designed and constructed to impress. Public spaces are imposing and extravagant, exuding an Old World authority. The rooms themselves are massive — from forty-two to over seventy square meters in area. Marble bathrooms house separate baths and showers. Satellite television, multiple phone lines, and high-speed internet complete the state-of-the-art guest room package. Deluxe suites are spacious enough to offer separate restrooms for guests, and some Executive rooms are furnished with “Jacuzzi-baths.”

The Avenue Louise is Brussels’ most fashionable avenue, with easy access to transportation, tourist destinations, and upscale shopping. The hotel boasts a twenty minute walk to the Palais Royale and Grand Place, and the Museum of Art and Parc de Bruxelles are nearby. The business district and European Community headquarters are a short cab ride away.

Every convenience a one could possibly desire is accounted for at the Conrad. An indoor pool, full-service spa, even a dance studio are all on-site. Golf, tennis and squash, horseback riding, even bowling are nearby. Though a comfortable stay for the leisure traveler, this is above all a business hotel, and the Conrad knows which side its bread is buttered on — meeting and event facilities are far more than adequate. No fewer than fifteen separate spaces are available, including an 800-capacity ballroom.

The Cafe Wiltcher offers fixed-price business service and The Cocktail Bar is the most comprehensive whisky bar in Belgium, with 140 single malt varieties, and fifty types of cigars. It is not difficult to imagine European Community economic policy being crafted in the bar, or over a business lunch at the cafe.

In short, this is a strong contender for the title of Perfect Business Hotel. The service is astounding, the accommodations vast and extravagant, and the overall impression an intimidating one, an image of old-world tradition and European economic might.

Guests over the age of 18 are considered adults. Some rooms accommodate 3 or more. The "Suites" room sleeps up to 4 guests. For crib/cot, must book "Classic" room or larger. For 2 adults + rollaway bed, must book "Classic" or larger. For 2 adults + 2 kids beyond crib age, must book "Classic" room or larger. Connecting rooms available. Can be confirmed upon reservation.

Cribs are available and may be subject to an additional fee. Roll-away beds available for an additional fee of €40. No additional charges for kids beyond crib/roll-away.

Babysitting services provided by screened hotel personnel at €12.5 per hour. Daycare services provided, kids between the ages of 0 and 3 can be dropped off on a fixed schedule at €12.5 per hour. The restaurant is kid-friendly with high chairs. Room service offers a kids menu.
