Founded by a couple of fashion-industry insiders down from Paris, Domaine des Andeols is a bit more than the typical Provençe farmhouse hotel. Literally more — in fact it’s nine houses, each one converted into a single suite of one to three bedrooms — and figuratively more as well, with interiors fit for the fashion crowd, an indoor and an outdoor swimming pool, a Turkish bath, and a fine restaurant helmed by a Michelin-starred chef.
The houses are spacious, with kitchenettes and dining rooms, and chic, each individually decorated with its own distinct character, decked out in designer furniture and pieces from the owners’ art collection. Interiors are more stylish than most Parisian hotels, to say nothing of the country competition, A few have terraces, for taking in the view of the surrounding Lubéron countryside, and two have private pools.
That this place looks like the backdrop to a fashion shoot is no accident; it’s regularly visited by photographers on the run from the city, looking for some urbane interiors against a background of farmland idyll. Leisure guests, however, have it better; it’d be a pity to come this close to the House of Savors, the back-to basics Provençal restaurant, and not be able to eat.
Kids:
Guests over the age of 7 are considered adults. The "The Traveler's House" room sleeps up to 3 guests. For crib/cot, must book "The Lover's House" room or larger. For 2 adults + rollaway bed, must book "0" or larger. For 2 adults + 2 kids beyond crib age, must book "0" room or larger. Connecting rooms available. Can be confirmed upon reservation.
Cribs are available for an additional fee of €18. Roll-away beds available for an additional fee of €37. No additional charges for kids beyond crib/roll-away.
Pool available that allows kids. Babysitting services provided by screened outside help at €30 per hour. The restaurant is kid-friendly. Table Tennis Swimming
