Some hotels may charge extra for a rollaway bed or a crib - depending upon age. This possible extra charge is not always displayed by the hotel to appear with the list of available rates offered.
In order to make sure that you see the exact rate that you will be charged for an accommodation for more than 2 adults, it is best to double-check by
emailing us at customer service
with your dates and the ages of your children. We will be happy to confirm rates and availability for you.
We now have a new service dedicated to those Tablet Hotels users traveling with children that searches only the verified kid-friendly hotels.

Phoenix is nice enough, if you like sprawl, and if you don’t mind the fact that the landscape is so flat and featureless that the one modest hill in the center of it all is revered as cactus country’s answer to Mt. Fuji. The real Arizona, though, begins at the end of the city planners’ grid, and by the time you get to Sedona, the suburbs are a distant memory.
Here in red rock country it’s still possible to feel some of the romance of the American Southwest, and Enchantment Resort, situated at the bottom of Boynton Canyon, is an immersive escape. The adobe villas, dwarfed by the red sandstone cliffs, are scattered throughout the property, surrounded by pine trees and juniper bushes. They’re divisible into single rooms and one- or two-bedroom suites, and it may be worth booking a suite just for the living room, with its fireplace, kitchenette and high timbered ceiling—though even the bedroom-only option is attractive enough, with its spacious layout and private deck. All rooms, no matter the layout, are comfortably furnished, with conveniences like broadband internet, in-room movies and High Desert bath products made from local plant ingredients.
The restaurant, Yavapai, serves breakfast, lunch and dinner against the backdrop of a 180-degree view of Boynton Canyon, and Tii Gavo is the more casual affair, offering outdoor terrace dining.
The spa, Mii Amo, is something like Vatican City; though completely enclosed by the Enchantment Resort’s grounds, it’s a semi-independent operation with its own guest rooms and restaurant. Treatments and services here are available to Enchantment guests, for a fee.
How to get there:
Enchantment Resort is approximately 2 hours from Phonenix and Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. It is a 5 hour drive from Las Vegas.
The Junior Suite was quite small especially around the bed area which itself was right next to the front door which opened to the outside. An light outside the front door shone through the wooden blinds onto the bed all night and it was not possible to turn it off. The hotel was aware of this problem but have done nothing to solve it. Car alarms from the staff car park went off several times during the night which kept us awake - the hotel seemed also to be aware of this when I mentioned it but did nothing to prevent it. The casual dining restaurant smells of stale beer.

The Tablet Hotels Meter is a running average of the ratings given to a hotel by registered Tablet Hotels users who have actually stayed at the hotel. The scores are based on responses to our feedback survey, which is sent automatically to every user after the completion of a hotel stay booked through Tablet Hotels. We receive responses every day, the scores change accordingly - in real-time.
This way we can be absolutely certain of the integrity of the rating process - on some travel websites, there is nothing preventing the General Manager from giving his own hotel a perfect score, or the concierge from across the street, posing as a dissatisfied guest, giving his competitor all zeros. You have probably seen questionable user reviews on other websites, whether flowery advertising copy written by fake guests, or vague negative attacks written anonymously. You will not see any of this on Tablet Hotels.
How does a hotel remain a Tablet Hotel?
We have selected nothing but the most unique and extraordinary properties from around the world, but circumstances at individual hotels can change quickly. Therefore it is up to our customers to inform us if one of our properties has taken a turn for the worse. The Tablet Hotels Meter works on a 20-point scale, and for a hotel to keep its place on Tablet Hotels, the magic number is 15.
This is not just an arbitrary figure; we have two years' worth of data, from past user feedback, and we have found that the hotels whose scores drop below 15 are those experiencing recurring problems, and guest detailed reports reflect the same serious concern, whether it be service, room quality, noise or something else.
The Tablet Hotels Meter will not display a score until we have had at least two customers rate the hotel. This way one person's unfortunate stay cannot carry too much weight. And once five guests have returned their verdicts, the rating becomes a more scientific measure of the opinion of the average guest. At this point, if the hotel's average overall score drops below 15, the hotel will be automatically removed from the site.
Your opinion really does count; in this case, it is the only thing keeping the hotels you visit on the site. On a more positive note, the hotels with top scores are featured in our "Tablet 10" lists. And as a side benefit, this system will encourage hotels to extend their best level of service to Tablet Hotels users - we turn every Tablet Hotels client into a reviewer!
This is a moderated forum; all hotel reviews and travel recommendations must follow the Tablet Hotels and Tablet Talk guidelines below. We will not publish a hotel review or a travel recommendation unless it is:
Original
Please don't quote from other sources or otherwise reprint material published elsewhere, including your own comments on other travel review sites.
Relevant to other travelers
This is not a forum for general political, ethical or religious opinions. Nor is it a place for questions or comments directed to property representatives, Tablet Inc. staff, or other Tablet Talk members - we encourage you to use private channels for such communications. It should go without saying that we don't want to see personal insults or language that a reasonable observer might deem offensive. And please keep your submissions current - no need to mention a trip that happened more than two years ago.
A personal opinion or recommendation
Hotel reviews are restricted to verified guests who booked their stays through TabletHotels.com. Likewise, travel recommendations must be based on first-hand experience. No recommendations or reviews written by owners or managers posing as guests, or by current or past employees, or second-hand hearsay from others. If your friend/cousin/neighbor has something to contribute then you should invite them to join the community so that they may share their opinions themselves.
We do not allow recommendations to be written based on incentives from property owners/management. Offering discounts or upgrades or other special treatment in exchange for reviews is very much against the rules, and any property found to be engaging in this sort of thing will be dealt with most unforgivingly.
Non-commercial
Comment spam is a serious problem, and we will reject even the most borderline cases. No commercial web address, e-mail addresses or contact information. No promotional material of any kind. We reserve the right to reject any URL for any reason.
Written with standard e-mail etiquette
This is a forum with a broad readership; don't assume that hotel owners in Milan and travel agents in Guangzhou are familiar with the latest slang and shorthand, or that typographic symbols will be rendered properly across all platforms. Please don't shout in ALL CAPS - in general, keep it readable. And for various boring technical reasons, HTML tags and most forms of text and paragraph formatting, even simple lists, will not survive the posting process.

Tablet Inc. reserves the right to remove any hotel review or travel recommendation at its sole discretion, for violation of the above guidelines or for any other reasons.
These reviews are posted exclusively by verified guests whose stays were booked through TabletHotels.com. We do encourage our clients to express their opinions, and what makes a hotel experience great is often something subjective, a matter of personal taste. At the same time, many of the hotels we list are extreme in one dimension or another, and are bound to disappoint somebody somewhere. These reviews are an excellent way to identify a hotel's particular quirks, and thereby avoid a poor hotel-guest match. But remember: if a hotel's overall customer rating falls lower than 15 out of 20, the hotel will be removed from our listings.
The opinions expressed in these reviews are solely those of our clients; the opinions expressed in any hotel management responses are solely those of the hotels themselves. We do not endorse any of the opinions expressed within the reviews, and we are not affiliated with any of the hotels in question. We reserve the right to remove any of the review or management response at our discretion.
