Though nominally the sister hotel of the bizarre modernist fantasy that is the Aleph, the Exedra could hardly be more different: while the Aleph is a small and insular hipster haven, the Exedra is a large and luxurious business hotel; and while the Aleph strains at the boundaries of cutting-edge design, the Exedra is a sedate and traditional affair behind the facade of a neoclassical arcade on the Piazza della Repubblica.
The contrast with the rest of the Roman hotel scene, however, runs the other way: this is a town of heavy Baroque interiors, of hotels-as-museums, and compared to the competition, the Exedra is positively breezy and contemporary. Here marble bathrooms and tasteful antiques feel fashionably sleek, and the experience is further smoothed by the amenities and service of a five-star international business hotel.
Many rooms have views over the piazza, and some come with private outdoor terraces. Public spaces include a paparazzi-themed brasserie decorated with candid celebrity snaps and a champagne bar with a view of the passing street life, as well as a full-service spa and extensive array of business facilities. Best and most unique of all, though, may be the rooftop pool, a familiar gesture in some cities but still a novelty in Rome, and an experience that’s worth savoring.

What I liked:
The guest relations coordinator, Giuseppe, made our stay amazing! He upgraded our room when he found out we were on our honeymoon and took care of us very well. The hotel was really immaculate... one of the best hotels we've been in!
What the hotel could do better:
Nothing, had a wonderful stay!

What I liked:
Location was great, room was spacious, with a nice double sink vanity in the bathroom. It was very neat and clean.
What the hotel could do better:
Service was lacking, greatly. The "bar" had no service most of the time. Waiting for a cup of coffee resulted in our finding a McDonalds instead. As it turned out we did not have breakfast included, as we thought, and to pay for it was truly unworthy of the expense. We did speak to the manager, and she removed the amount from our bill, which we appreciated. The lobby was not inviting and did not lend itself to enjoying it much, but the outside veranda turned out to be a nice place to sit and have get a drink (eventually). We also had to have mini-bar charges removed, as ours was broken and in seeking a switch to check, we moved around some of the items around and were charged.

What I liked:
Las habitaciones son muy espaciosas, limpias, en general el hotel es precioso, estilo clasico conservador pero su moqueta limpia.
What the hotel could do better:
Nada, ¡disfruté de mi estancia!
