Two outdoor pools make the most of the plentiful Andalusian sunshine, and a private beach club is due to open next year. And of course there’s the golf club itself, with an 18-hole par-72 course spread over 70 acres and a Jack Nicklaus golf academy for first-class instruction.

What I liked:
Every corner of it! The rooms were beautiful, the pool facing the mountains, the old school bar ... It was a true getaway.
What the hotel could do better:
Its location is difficult to find, but otherwise it's a great place for a breath of fresh air from the rigorous sightseeing in Andalucia.
