Important information about traveling with kids:

Some hotels may charge extra for a rollaway bed or a crib - depending upon age. This possible extra charge is not always displayed by the hotel to appear with the list of available rates offered.

In order to make sure that you see the exact rate that you will be charged for an accommodation for more than 2 adults, it is best to double-check by emailing us at customer service with your dates and the ages of your children. We will be happy to confirm rates and availability for you.

We now have a new service dedicated to those Tablet Hotels users traveling with children that searches only the verified kid-friendly hotels. Search TabletKids Hotels

Please note The Magnolia Hotel does not allow pets.

The Magnolia Hotel in Denver is a chip off the same block as the Dallas and Houston outposts, a cozy and elegant hotel occupying a downtown historic building, in this case a 1906 bank. The 17th Street location makes it an ideal choice for travelers with business downtown, but those traveling for pleasure will find it even more convenient.

The style is contemporary and slightly European, thankfully forsaking all the clichés of the American West — don't worry, you will see enough cowhide and Gold Rush memorabilia around town to last you some time. There's nothing flashy about the design or the furnishings, just warm, inviting colors and robust oversized furniture. Rooms are spacious and feature high-speed internet access, and some suites are large enough for full kitchens — though all guests can take advantage of the hotel's late-night cookies and milk service.

The Magnolia Club on the lower level is something of a combined library and lounge, a homey space in which to unwind, and Harry's Bar is a mod-themed jazz bar where hotel guests may drink at a discount. There is no restaurant, and limited room service, but just a block away is 16th Street, the pedestrian street where most of downtown Denver's shops and restaurants are found; and just beyond that is the LoDo district, home to the Coors Field ballpark and most of the downtown nightlife. In a town where most of the hotels are marooned alongside outlying office parks (and most of those are faceless chain hotels) the Magnolia brings a welcome dash of personality and access to Denver's best.
