There’s no metaphor here. On the Rocks is literally on the rocks. Like the rest of the tiny village of Imerovigli, this elegant hotel balances atop the cliffs that overlook the famous caldera of Santorini. The hotel wisely lets the rocky landscape and crystalline seascape dominate. The whitewashed exterior reflects the Mediterranean sunshine and sets off the shifting blues of the horizon.
