In terms of luxuries, the Sofitel Lafayette Square measures up well against the District’s other high-end hotels. What I liked:
Excellent beds with Frette linens, and lovely interiors. Fabulous bar that can be a little expensive for a glass of wine, but is beautifully decorated and has a notable food menu with items available after 11 p.m. Hotel is in a good location with convenient parking across the street.
