There’s a case to be made that if you want to get to the heart of the new Dubai, this is the place to go. The Address Downtown Dubai is sandwiched between the sprawling Dubai Mall and the enormous Burj Khalifa, which will be for a time the tallest building in the world — and if there’s a city where bigger is unquestionably better, it’s got to be this one.
Not for the Address, then, the subtle pleasures of the intimate little boutique hotel. It’s shorter than the Burj, but not by a whole lot, its 196 rooms and suites standing as high as sixty-three floors up. The look is contemporary luxury, and the services and amenities are encyclopedic to match: thoroughly wired, 24-hour everything, and no convenience spared, right down to details like in-room espresso machines and Acqua di Parma bath products.
And what it lacks in some kind of kitsch local color it more than makes up for in international culinary appeal. Restaurants include Chinese and wide-ranging pan-global options, and the sky bar, all the way up on the sixty-third floor, serves cocktails and snacks with a vertiginous view of downtown Dubai.

What I liked:
Location was excellent! Right across from the Burj Kalifa and next to the Dubai Mall. Common areas (Lobby, Pool) were very creative. We booked a studio apartment, but got upgraded to a one bedroom apartment with a fountain view. The fountain view provides an awesome perspective for the fountain shows.
What the hotel could do better:
Nothing, had a wonderful stay!

What I liked:
Really nice rooms with a lot of space. Beautiful large bathroom with separate shower and bath. Nice design. The bath was situated so that it overlooked the bedroom which was nice. Comfortable beds. Nice simple balcony with seating.
What the hotel could do better:
Not much. The service was good and staff was pleasant. The rooms were designed nicely. They weren't as modern of a design as I would've liked but that's just my personal taste. I would've wished that the TV was viewable from the bathtub, but that's a minor inconvenience. It was a really great hotel.
