All of the Park Hotels are architecturally distinctive in one way or another, which is only fitting given their status as India’s first design-conscious boutique chain. But it’s hard not to agree that the Park Hyderabad has taken this tendency to a new level. The building, by the multi-national mega-firm SOM, is as bold a design statement as you’re likely to see anywhere — and it’s all the more dramatic by contrast with its Indian setting.
It’s also LEED Gold certified, which means it’s quite probably more sustainable than any of India’s more traditional colonial or palace-style hotels. And of course if modern design is your taste, then it’s miles more stylish than the competition — cool white predominates in the guest rooms, warmed by accents in oranges and reds, a bit like Barbarella re-interpreted through the lens of contemporary Indian design.
Indeed for all the high modern style it’s easy to overlook what the Park has in common with the big luxury hotels that are its stylistic antithesis. Here you’ll find some grand-hotel charms: no fewer than four restaurants and one nightclub, as well as an elevated infinity-edge swimming pool and a full-service spa and health club. And if you’re in the market for some serious luxury, try the executive and presidential suites — who knows how our world might look if more presidents slept in hotels as stimulating as the Park.

What I liked:
it looked nice, but turned out to be a cheap copy designer hotel, made of poor quality material
What the hotel could do better:
Western limited food choices in restaurant, clean cushion in restaurant etc.
