Townhouse 12
Piazza Gerusalemme 12
Milan, Italy
Neighborhood: Porta Sempione
Style: Contemporary Classic
Atmosphere: Quiet
17 Rooms
Sister to the Townhouse 31 in Via Goldoni, Townhouse 12 makes its home slightly to the north of the city center, on the Piazza Gerusalemme, one of the centers of Milan’s nightlife. This city is permanently abuzz with activity, and this neighborhood in particular stays busy into the night.
Townhouse 12 is designed to insulate and shelter guests from the outside world. You’ll find no Starck-style whimsy or opulent Italian maximalism here — just soothing greys, exotic hardwoods and plenty of metal and glass.
Services tend to the minimal; rooms come with the basics, like internet access and satellite television, but there’s no restaurant, just a breakfast room where the concierge himself serves the guests at a long communal table. It’s hardly a handicap — a staggering array of restaurants, cafes, bars and shops lie within waking distance.
And while the Scandinavian-style ice bar is gone, what remains is the terrace bar. T may generate fewer headlines, but it's far more desirable from a guest's perspective — between shivering in parkas while downing flavored vodkas, and lounging with a cocktail under the summer sky, we know which we'd choose.
Kids:
Guests over the age of 3 are considered adults. Some rooms accommodate 3 or more. The "junior suite" room sleeps up to 2 adults + 1 infant guests. For crib/cot, must book "double standard" room or larger. For 2 adults + rollaway bed, must book "none" or larger. For 2 adults + 2 kids beyond crib age, must book "none" room or larger. Connecting rooms available. Can be confirmed upon reservation.
Cribs are available and may be subject to an additional fee. No additional charges for kids beyond crib/roll-away.
There are no babysitting or daycare services available. Daycare services provided, kids between the ages of 0 and 3 can be dropped off on a fixed schedule.
