“the service was absolutely outstanding, friendly, considerate personable. they even offered me a jar of handmade marmalade when I left.I had to change my return flight because of an emergency and they spent 2 hours helping me book something. they drove me to the airport which was very far away at an early time. I couldn't have wished for better service.”

“The staff were particularly helpful. There was a small issue with our room on arrival and we were immediately moved to another without any fuss. When we were asked for a late check out we were allowed to stay as long as we wanted at no extra charge so were seduced into staying till 5.00pm.”

“This was a lovely place to stay. The restaurant was really excellent and staff well informed about local places to go and things to do. Meals were served with polish and grace. We were never rushed and felt relaxed. The grounds are lovely and a joy to walk through.Reception staff is excellent as is housekeeping.We have already recommended this hotel to others.”
