Queues at reception were quite lengthy at times due to only having 2 staff on who were also phoning for cabs, opening the left luggage store etc. But staff were very helpful and pleasant. Location is fantastic with excellent tramlink just 1 min walk from the back of the hotel. Decor is very interesting, nice and airy and rooms were above-average for reasonable price (3 star rooms). Need full length mirrors in bedrooms though, and those in triple rooms were a bit disappointed with the camp-bed style third bed.

The showers were excellent.

Beds are very comfortable. Though showers are in communal bathroom, they are very nice.

Lovely room - bit bland, but great bed, mattress, covers and shutters

The hotel is hip but not well located for access to old Amsterdam. The weekend rate of 120 EUR per night for the room was reasonable value-for-money, but the 30 EUR per day increase for weeknights was no longer being value-for-money. For 150 EUR a night, I could have found better elsewhere. Breakfast and food service is fabulous, and the activities that bring the restaurant/dining area to life are also great. Allowing smoking right throughout the food areas though seems unusually backward for a hip hotel in a modern country, and of course is horrible for non-smokers

Although the public places wery very nice with an unusual design our room was extremely small and was a bit gloomy. It looked like a prison cell. We were promised a view on the harbour but in fact you had to step on a chair to see through the window. The breakfast was average. The public transport link to the city centre was good. I would still recommend this hotel but probably not the budget option.

Food average but room good. Noisy and smoking neighbours though.

Crazy architecture, location

Hotel room was good, though sparsely furnished (beyond minimalist appeal). Otherwise, Lloyd Hotels offers a unique place to stay.

Windows were only single glazed in a busy area.Poor sleep.Wouldnt use again

Letti molto commode e stanza adeguato. Bagni molto basic.
