“I thought the rooms needed an uplift - the bathrooms offered little privacy, the TV too old and the stereo could not go higher than whisper - this made staying in the rooms significantly less comfortable. Service compensated throughout the stay. I did think they could have been more accomodative upon arrival. I booked 4 weeks in advance and asked for an early check but was not accomodated due to lack of rooms! Overall OK but they are slipping.”

“I arrived to Dylan at 12 noon after an overnight flight and had 30 minutes to prepare for a meeting. The room was not ready and was told to "go walk around the city for a couple of hours". They offered me the "exercise room" to change in - a room that included four pieces of exercise equipment, and no washroom or shower facility. BUT, the hotel ended up being amazing. Wonderful rooms and the concierge staff were terrific in helping out for dinner/cafes/clubs.... I would stay again.”

“Excellent location. Staff very friendly and helpful. A visit to the restuarant is a must with several fine dining options! Only downside was gym was very very small, only four machines however access was provided to a larger gym around the corner for a small fee. Would recommend trying to get a room at the front overlooking the canal. Can be more nosiy but the view is worth it. Highly recommend this hotel.”

“Hotel was very stylish and the room was lovely and spacious. Service in the hotel lounge and bar was ridiculous slow.....almost nonexistent. That being said, I would probably stay there again anyway.”

“The decor was fantastic, both in the rooms and the private areas. However, my source of dissappointment was the noise. I had a room right on the stairs and was repeatadly woken by footsteps up and down the stairs, on the wood floors. Also, at around 6:30am, I could hear a vacuum cleaner..”

“The staff was helpful and happy to accommodate changes, the bar was attractive and the service very pleasant, and the room and bathroom were beautiful, with adaptable lighting, an ipod stand, and a beauful view of the courtyard. My only complaint is that it nowhere said in advance that the hotel was completely non smoking apart from the bar, which was disappointing.”
