“Hotel was nicely designed but poorly maintained -- many stained carpets, etc. The service was minimal -- no help with bags or taxis. Breakfast was adequate but not more. Rooftop pool area was nice, but no towels or other amenities provided.”

“I found the light fixtures a little dificult to use. Also, the bath toiletries left a lot to be desired. Also, the free wi-fi did not work with my computer and the hotel did not have any network cables available, nor could they figure out when they would get more. I stayed at this hotel because of the wi-fi service.”

“B hotel was poorly located. Service was poor with staff confined behind reception counter and unprepared to go the extra mile. Food was very unimpressive. Decor was dull if modern. Overall the hotel was NOT a "boutique" hotel but just another small modern business hotel.”

“Situated directly on Espanya Plaza where you can catch most major metros to center of the city or its outskirts (montserrat, stadium olympic)Curious bathroom layout. Modern fixtures and a comfortable bed.Relaxing pool, after a long days worth of walking around to enjoy a drink with a fantastic view of the plaza.This hotel will probably get pricier after they finish building in the plaza. They are renovating the stadium there and another high end condo is being built across the street. Take advantage of this great hotel while its still affordable.”

“Great design and style throughout, excellent lobby and bar area. Comfortable, spacious rooms and the price couldn't be beat. Although technically rated 3-star, it feels more like a 4-star with 2-star prices. Easily my favorite hotel in Europe. If you like the Standard Hotel in LA, minus the scene, you'll love this place.Breakfast finally features soy milk available to the guests which is a definite plus.”
