“What won me over was the staff. Super professional, friendly and very helpful. Oh and the fantastic size of our room! Also, the best buffalo mozzarella outside Italy. I've been to a lot of leading hotels but this was by far the most comfortable stay in terms of atmosphere, service and amenities. The spa deserves full credit for its late opening hours, fantastic 20 m pool and up-to-date gym. The joy was in the details.”

“The service was some of the best I have ever had. The public spaces and the rooms are dramatically beautiful, but very comfortable at the same time. The food was superb. Afternoon tea was a big plus. The spa was lovely, but small. The pool area, in a giant old bank vault, was spectacular. The view from my room, over an enormous square, surrounded by beautiful old East German museum and bank buildings, was breathtaking.”
