“Considering the publicity around the Faena hotel, we were a little disappointed with the stay. Although the room was nice and our "experience manager" was very attentive, we found the rest of the hotel staff to be rather cold and too trendy and hip to even smile and say "hello." At the entrance, we were not greeted like we are at other hotels. The staff was generally unfriendly. I am happy to have stayed there but, for the price, I will never stay there again.”

“The best hotel in BA, without a doubt. Phillipe Starck's interiors are amazing (and he had a decent budget to execute them), the staff are super-nice (they seem to anticipate your every need), the pool was really hard to drag myself away from, the restaurants excellent. Overall I highly recommend this hotel. It's location, in the Puerto Madero district, is plus and a minus though. The plus is that it's quiet and the air is clean, and the area is a recently developed 'docklands' type project with lots of cafes. etc. The minus is that it's not really connected with the center of BA, and one doesn't feel totally immersed in the city. It requires a taxi ride or a 20 minute walk to get into the 'real' BA. However, this means it is an oasis, and a very comfortable one at that.”
