  1. “Fabulous art deco building, which in my opinion - is in a great part of BA...great architecture, close to antique shops & historical landmarks. This was an old printing building, and the cage elevator, colored tiles, and stained glass windows really give it some beautiful charm. The front desk was always accommodating and worked well under pressure (there was a power outage at one point). Also, very helpful in recommending some places we had wanted to visit. They also booked us in-room massages as requested - everything on time and done nicely & professionally. The beds are comfy and there is a lot of light. Not my favorite in terms of room or lobby design (it would be great if they stuck with the classic art deco theme of the bldg, colored tiles, etc)...but they had clean spacious rooms & easy access to wifi.”

  2. “It is a nice mixture of a very modern and well designed hotel in an historical building. The location is great too.”

  3. “We had an amazing room with 2 balconies, great views, quiet room, huge space, great shower (very important!) Room 61....really enjoyed this understated hotel. The location was not perfect for our use but we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go in the peak of winter. A classic Tango show was a block away. The newly updated San Telmo area is a few blocks away. The main area, the Recoleta, is a long walk but manageable. Within an hour we had walked to the famous cemetary with Eva Peron's grave. We are 40 years old and enjoy long walks. Taxis are very inexpensive. (Note: taxi from airport >EZE< to hotel is about 80-90 pesos! ...around 30 USD....we were taken for 300 pesos!!!) We stayed at the CE Design Hotel on the outbound and did not like it as much. The CE Design Hotel was NOISY with loud plumbing and loud AC unit in the large room with large balcony. We had a top floor loft room and woke up to much noise of mechanical/ plumbing equipment and dogs outside. We really preferred this Moreno Hotel with its service, great quiet, huge room, clean spaces, great staff- and great pricing.”

  4. “For location and size of room, price was a steal! Concierge/front desk (specifically Barbara) was extremely helpful. We loved the old-fashioned elevator mixed with the modern/contemporary feel of the rooms.”

  8. “The design of the hotel reminded me of the baglioni in London. Antique elevators, stained glass, etc”

  9. “Loved the location and design of the hotel as well as the space of the room. Great staff who were willing and able to assist with every request. While the hotel does not have a restaurant, there is one at the bottom of the property, Aldo, which ended up being one of our favorite meals in Buenos Aires.”

  11. “The building is just unbelievable. We also had a great room. Spacious and well designed. Go for the loft, if available.Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. Clearly, the location of the hotel is not as "friendly" as other parts of town but at least here you know where you are. Compared to parts of Palermo viejo where you really feel you could be in any expat/chic neighborhood anywhere, this is true and full of character. We had a great stay.”
