“Sofitel properties are known to be good stuff, and this one in Hamburg is no exception. Quiet, but central location. The room was very nice, but a bit small, considering we were given an upgrade with balcony facing the canal. Got a smoke-free room with the smell from a previous smoker, or maybe from the Direction office next door (with a full ashtray on the balcony). Anyway, beds are too soft from my preferences. Breakfast was very good, and the spa in the basement was superb. Helpful and friendly staff.”

“I loved the room. The bed was incredibly comfortable. We had a suite that was very roomy, and the sofa made a comfortable bed for my son. The bathroom was great-- large and had Hermes amenities. Great room service food.”
