Everything was great, I had problems finding taxis and the rest, bar and lobby is dead!

The room was an excellent use of a small space-very groovy. Location of the hotel is good, and on site restaurant and bar were quite pleasant.

Overall, the experience at Jia Hotel was okay; not much room though in the lobby/public spaces ........ section for morning's continental breakfast way too small. Room itself was jammed with way too many furniture pieces - less would have actually been more. Bathroom window shade was pretty crummy and some of the mirrors on the walls throughout the apartment were crooked. Instructions on how to operate TV/DVD/CD could have been more user friendly (had to call person to room who explained I needed to use auxiliary (which was no where on the written instructions)). Opia overrated (svc poor).

Service was excellent. I stayed at Jia twice. In between I went to China for a few weeks. Jia happily held luggage for me so I could travel lighter. When there was a problem with the air conditioner in my room, maintenance immediately assessed the problem and I was transferred to an upgraded room.

It was the first night of out honeymoon, so the seduction rating was easy, JIA is not your typical hotel which I think is worth highlighting, but for those who appreciate good design and something a little quirky, its fantastic.

A few things I loved about the hotel - wood floors instead of grubby carpeting, complimentary terrycloth slippers, a fluffy fresh comforter instead of a traditional floral bed cover (which has not been laundered for the last 10 years) and adequate water pressure in the shower. It was just like staying in the spare room of your good friend's loft apartment.

Excellent location, looked rather far from the hub of the action on the map but was perfect for shopping and no problems getting around. Room was very small, and perhaps looking a little tired - white walls showing scuff marks and dodgy grouting in bathroom etc. V comfy bed, well air conditioned and helpful staff - although entrance areas lacked the gravitas of some of the other hotels we stayed in.

Jia Hotle in HKG is fabulous. Very cool place with fantastic suites and all the amenities - thoroughly enjoyed it. Almost felt like hanging out at home with the home theatre/flat screen TV set up.

Would love more space to have a nice breakfast...

Home away from home. Very nice and I really enjoyed my stay.

We spent 7 nights at the JIA Hong Kong traveling with our small 2 year old girl, we were not sure if the hotel might be a bit snooty with the child but we couldnt have been more wrong. IT WAS 100% FABULOUS. we cant wait to go back. the staff are total professionals, better than most 5 star Hiltons or Marriots, booking us into top restaurants, getting us a great babysitter, always making us welcome. Great free breakfast, evening drinks in the lobby and unlimited supply of water, fresh fruit, tea coffee. the location is excellent. we will be back for sure.
