  1. “We visited this hotel partly due to the previous reviews, but also because if its location. ( I also prefer to stay in nice hotels) The Sofitel did not let us down! Service was fabulous from the minute we arrived when the Concierge insisted on thrusting a map in our hands and informing us where everything was. Lisbon geography lesson over, up to the room. While not the largest room in the world, excellently fitted out, flat screen TV, minibar Bathroom all fab. However the P.d.R was the bed, you go to a city to visit and get about - BUT ONLY IF YOU CAN DRAG YOURSELF FROM THE MOST COMFORTABLE BED IN THE WORLD!Location is just about perfect for this city, you can walk anywhere from the hotel, or the subway is only yards from the front lobby.I would reccomend anyone to stay at this hotel, should we visit Lisbon again, we will. (assuming they dont get greedy and price themselves out of the market)”

  7. “The location was excellent. the hotel was 2 min away from the Elevador da Gloria - one of the 2 famous streetcars in the city. This one takes you right up to the old town where all the hip restaurants and bars are. Also, being on the Avenida da Liberdade where all the shops were, you could really walk through most parts of the city centre from the hotel. The airport bus takes you to a bus stop near this hotel too, so its very cheap and convenient to commute to and fro.Our room was lovely, fully renovated, extremely comfy bed, and a little Baci chocolate on your pillor. Hermes toiletries in the bathroom adds that extra touch too. All in all, great stay.”
