We were a little worried when we walked in. The lobby seemed a little run down, but the rooms were great in an off-beat sort of way, and the staff were wonderful.

A pleasing and comfortable stay. The staff was friendly, my room was great (with wonderful books to read!) and the location was excellent.

Great hotel - only problem for us was that we were on the 3rd floor and had a lot of luggage. There is no elevator.

noisy location. very pleasant people. nice room, but luckily walking up 4 floors is not a problem.

When we arrived, it was during the summer heat wave and were told the air conditioning just came back on. The air in the room was just pushing the limits of keeping comfortable - the room control unit could not be set below 18 degrees C and we would have preferred to turn it down another degree or two. Stairway could use a little work to straighten and level - a bit hard to walk up and down a couple of times a day. Room service staff were great, even when my wife called at 2 am for some biscuits and milk.

Hazlitt's is a wonderful hotel. It's location (Soho) is ideal for those interested in late night activities. It is close to restaurants, bars, nightclubs, and many London attractions. The unique bedrooms are spacious for London and nicely decorated. The only drawback is the absence of showers. The two bedrooms I used both had bath tubs only

hotel and room were fine ; just that down the street there is a loud bar ... action went on all night : never slept.

I was disappointed to find my room smelled of cigarette smoke. In a small urban hotel,it should be the norm for the whole building to be smoke free. In Hazlitt's case this is esp pertinent as there is no sitting room or other space in which to relax

Charming hotel, charming staff, reasonable rates for Central London. Ideal location for restaurants, indie cafes, theatreland etc. A whiff of Victoriana (with better plumbing) and a warm welcome rare in the city. Will definitely return and recommend to others.

Hazlitt's was everything the advertising said it would be but I expected bigger spaces from the photos and four poster beds. It is a very convenient place to be able to walk to the train or to tourist destinations. Soho is fun at night there are some interesting sights!

we had a very short stay (one night). The room was charming and the staff very helpful. It is a different experience as the Hotel is more like a private house. Overall a charming and quaint athmosphere
