It is a lovely Hotel, very well located and the staff were very friendly. I stayed in a family room with my children and for a London hotel I was surprised by the size of the room which was very generous with excellent bathroom facilities. The weekend rate was ok but the rate on the monday night was expensive.

Second stay at this hotel. Got a queen room his time which was quite a bit smaller than the King I had last time but still well equipped and pleasant. Overall, pretty good experience. I'd give it 17 out of 20 on your scale.

The reception personal are not friendly. They do not know how to handle credit card accounts. More training is needed.

I've stayed at this hotel several times and it's consistently good value. Especially as high speed internet is free which can cost the equivalent of $45 a day at current exchange rates in some London hotels! Biggest improvement by far was to the hotel restaurant Amba, which has a new chef and kitchen team. I had a truly excellent dinner there which was a great surprise as it was previously only adequate.

Comunque cortesi e disponibili.

my only disappointment was that we booked a room with a terrace but also mentioned that we wanted a non-smoking room. At the may fair all terrace rooms are smoking rooms. However, the reception were extremely efficient and gave us an alternative room with no hesitation.

Nice rooms for london, I've learned not to expect much from hotel rooms unless you're willing to pay $500 USD.Excellent location, I like this location being close to Piccadilly and Trafalgar.
