  1. “i have stayed in this hotel before and love it! the rooms maybe look a bit tired, but the hotel is small, very cozy, friendly staff, and has fabulous bathrooms! just across the street from the south kensington tube so everything is easy to get to. harrods is a 5 minute walk and the victoria and albert museum 2 minutes away. there is a small restaurant downstairs for that is good and is open for all three meals. room service is 24hrs a day! actually, i cannot say enough good things about it. will stay there again and again!”

  3. “we read other reviews that said this was a top notch hotel. When we got there we were disappointed that the hotel was covered in scaffolding and the management had not let us know this and did not offer us any disocunted rate for the inconvience of both the blocked off windows - or the painters walking back and forth outside our window. After the second night we talked to the manager and he was very understanding, he moved our room and lowered our rate. We appreciated this, and would return, but for the price of the rooms, the the owners should have offered these breaks upon check in.”

  5. “I only rated the room fair because, like so many other on-line bookings, it was probably one of the worse positioned rooms, being at the front overlooking a busy junction with a lot of traffic noise. The room itself was well set out, excellent bed, superb bathroom, dreadful TV and nice extras of essential oils and sprays. I also had a problem with the kitchen but it was sorted with the minimum of fuss and to my satisfaction. I think they're a bit expensive for their food but would probably stay again...in a different room.”

  7. “I would recommend this hotel to a friend. However, the rooms were smaller than I expected and we had an inside room with a view of a brick wall. There was little space in the bathroom for toiletries and there were no luggage racks. Small room with luggage on the floor was inconvenient. There was not a turn down service our first day with the excuse that we had a privacy card on the door which we didn't. Despite all the above, we emjoyed our stay at the Pelham. Next time, I would ask for an outside room and hopefully the forgotten turn down service was not the norm.”

  9. “The Pelham is probably my favourite hotel in London - not the most expensive or glamorous but just the best overall.Located right at South Kensington tube station in one of the coolest parts of London. 10 minutes from everywhere on the tube but also within a neighborhood that's worth exploring all of its own.Excellent quality rooms and the largest I have ever stayed at in London, possible the UK.”

  10. “The Pelham Hotel was wonderfully situated near the South Kensington Tube Station and walking distance to museums, shops and Kensington Palace. The Hotel itself was very welcoming. The staff was very helpful. The lounge area had a wonderful honor bar stocked with all types of gourmet goodies and drinks. The room was impeccably clean, and wonderfully decorated. The bathroom appeared to be very new, and included nice amenities such as Heated Towel Bar. I also loved the ability to open the windows to get fresh air.”

  11. “I loved everything, except having breakfast in the restaurant. There was no welcoming greeting when entering the breakfast room, no one to seat us, no information whether it was self-service or if they would bring the food/drinks to our table. We simply became confused. Not a great experience.”

  12. “Really liked the hotel although we were hardly in it before going off to a football match at Chelsea! The bar we used at the end of the evening was very cosy and warm. The room was very nice my only reservation was the lighting could have been a little better, a common problem in many hotels I find. At breakfast in the morning the waitress was pleasant although she didn't get our order or the people on the next table correct.”
