  2. “Hôtel répondant parfaitement aux caractéristiques présentées. Service excellent : serviabilité et attention. Chambre décorée avec goût, sens du détail. Un vrai coup de coeur pour cet hôtel au charme anglais raffiné. Une adresse à conserver, à 10 minutes à pieds de la nouvelle gare Eurostar.”

  5. “The Rookery has a great, old world feel to it. They successfully take you back in time. Also, the location in Smithfield/Clerkenwell is good for restaurant options.”

  6. “The hotel was lovely but I was slightly disappointed with the bathroom. We stayed in a superior room and I had expected a roll-top bath - however, there was only a shower. I'd also comment on the location. Despite Clerkenwell's wealth of bars and restaurants, most are actually closed at the weekend and the area is very quiet.”

  8. “The Rookery has a wonderful location in Clerkenwell, close to Smithfield Market and lots of great restaurants. Rooms that face the alley or street are a little noisy though. The rooms are beautifully designed. The room service food was excellent and the service helpful and friendly. I would definitely go back.”

  10. “outstanding! It was exactly how I wanted my last stay in London to be. At the end of every long trip I always book my last night at a Tablet Hotel for a little luxury. The decor was lovely. I always get a little excited over claw foot tubs. I enjoyed the lounge area very much. It was very comfortable and intimate but one can still enjoy conversation with other guests. The service was fantastic; the gentleman at the front desk even made us snacks at midnight and breakfast was delivered in the morning.”

  11. “I have stayed in a number of hotels in London but this one was unique and I would definitely recommend it to anyone traveling for pleasure. It was not quite as good for a business traveler because the working space was cramped, but it was wonderful to come back there at night after a long day. The hotel staff were very accommodating and friendly.”
