A welsome break from the mundane interiors of the leading Chains. Bags of character, superbly comfortable beds and all set in a vibey, colourful area only 10 minutes from the City.

Lovely boutique hotel - not terribly exciting area of London but very easy access to the tube.

Good location. Charming hotel but with certain limitations (no elevator - could be a problem for elderly or handicapped people). No proper breakfast area. Did not have plug adaptors (Europe/UK) - for this category hotel this should be a must! Reception staff friendly but maybe not of the highest qualification. Price/quality relation not quite right - hotel facilities are maybe not quite in line with todays requirements/standards. Roadside rooms are noise at night from bars/restaurants in the vicinity.

Loved the plush surroundings, gorgeous bed and bathroom and champagne on arrival as requested!

e un posto molto piacevole, sembra di stare a casa. all'arrivo mi e stato servito un the con degli ottimi pasticcini, e per cena si puo mangiare in un salottino con un atmosfera moloto piacevole

The room was amazing, the whole experience was very relaxing and the service was attentive but not claustophobic. I will definately try and stay at The Rookery again as its a hidden gem. I live in London and have no real interest in staying in a London hotel but the Rookery is very different, it feels like a members club rather than hotel.

I have stayed in a number of 'boutique' hotels in London and none have had the welcoming yet understated atmosphere of the Rookery. The staff are exceptionally helpful without being unctuous, and the hotel has the discreet and personal atmosphere of a members club without any snobbery. I will be back.

A beautiful hotel with excellant service.

Unique hotel close to the center of town. A very interesting albeit comfortable experience. I definately recomend it.
-
my only gripe is that you could not really get wireless in the room as promised. otherwise, everything was fantastic.
-
no slippers at room, all bed shaken as tube train passed by and you can hear all your neiboroughs' bathroom activities nights and early morning. meal at room service menue in really weak state.
