Nice rooms, the hotel gets very lively and crowded during the weekend, worth it if you're looking for some action.I love Asia de Cuba restaurant...

It's location and aesthetic.

Nice Hotel & spacious rooms, we noticed that the closet doors in our room were difficult to open, tv was too small and channel selection poor. internet speed was slow compared to other hotels. Overall, the service is good, the pool area was good and happening although too crowded at times. We will stay again.

Everything was wonderful - from the service to the rooms themselves. I would definatley return. The only caviat is that it is definatley set up for adults...I was there with another adult on business...which worked out great, but I would not return with my family in tow. It's not particularly kid-friendly. There were several other families there with small children, and they seemed to get a lot of "stares" and even a reprimand at the pool - for allowing the kids to get too rowdy. I would advise making a note of this to travelers on your site. Leave the kids at home when you come here.

The pool scene was excellent, as was Sky Bar. Rooms were very nice, but would have liked to have had high speed ethernet connection in them. Would also like for the rooms to have more amenties (better entertainment system, flat screen TV, etc).

NOISY HOTEL!!! Room 101 was horrible!

rooms are getting tired. carpet s really stained, furniture scuffed, decor is too minimal for my taste. Food, service, Sky Bar...all great. Need to focus on room renovations. rooms are not comfortable and at 565.oo a night should be more plush.Added details of old Life magazine was appreciated. Charging for wirelss seems "cheap'. Just include it in price of room.

One good thing is The Mondrian's consistency with the room upkeep and general overall tone. Only complaint is rather ludicrous prices (even more than usual) for the mini bar and room service breakfast was a bit sub par. The Sky Bar is a great look at the LA WeHo/wannabee and already 'am' scenes for the uninitiated.Try and upgrade to the Suite, standard rooms can be a little small.

Upon arrival to the Mondrian we learned that the pool (which we had heard wonderful things about) was covered with a plastic tent and off limit for at least 1 & 1/2 days. I was telling my spouse of our time relaxing at the pool, which never happened. Also, the room we had was over the bar area which was unbearbly loud and caused a very disturbed sleep (even though after mentioning, the manager sent up ear plugs) thus being a factor in our forthcoming New Years Eve. The rooms plumbing fixtures where old (needing replacement) and the decor a bit shabby (also needing updating). Unsatisfactory!

Over-priced for the experience.

The lobby was great.. the room was really simple.. not much to it.. great bathroom and mini bar. For the price. it didn't feel luxurious at all. A little empty but it had a great view.
