  2. “The Dar Warda Riad was exceptional in service and comfort. It was supremely decorated and exactly what I envisioned. Little plush alcoves for relaxing, Morroccan lanterns, carpets, and earthware in rich colors accented the rooms and rooftop lounge. After traveling during the day in the Medina and Kasbah, it was a quite little peice of heaven to come back to. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. If I were to refer a riad in Marrakesh, I would definately choose Dar Warda.”

  3. “Fantastically helpful and welcoming staff. Beautiful oasis of calm to stay in while in the hectic city of Marrakech. Slight smell from drains in one of the rooms, but certainly not enough to put you off. Beer and wine available which was a real bonus as it is difficult to find in the medina. Would definitely return!”

  4. “The Dar Warda was all about the excellent service for me. I think the room we stayed in was a little small, and we struggled to get hot water.”

  6. “La struttura all'interno è ben sfruttata,la gestiscono persone capaci, sorridenti e disponibili.Per quanto riguarda le escursioni o la ricerca di un ristotrante particolare sei tu che devi indicarglielo, hanno poca iniziativa.”

  7. “When we arrived at Dar Warda, there was no-one on duty who could speak English and we speak no French. Whilst this did not pose a problem for us, we think that some basic information in the room would be a good idea. For instance we were not sure whether we could just wonder up onto the terraces or what to do when we left the Riad, locking of doors etc., and how to go about asking for, or ordering something. The guy on duty at night spoke very good English and was an absolute credit to the hotel and extremely helpful.”

  8. “The hotel was quite hard to find and it was vital to have a guide to take us there in the first place. We had some initial anxieties about the dark alleyway leading to the hotel but at no time did we feel unsafe when walking through the narrow streets. We were never hassled and when we needed to ask directions, everyone was most helpful.”

  9. “The hotel was a wonderful retreat- the atmosphere was calming and relaxed with staff more thn happy to help with questions and requests. The building was wonderfully restored. Breakfast on the sun terrance was a treat and the is was great to receive a breakfast on the day we were leaving even though this was an early departure. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.”

  10. “This hotel was a beautiful discovery. My only comment is that similar to other places in the Medina, it was not easy to find and we had to rely on the local children to guide us there.”

  11. “Terrible odor in the room coming from plumbing so had to seal the drains constantly with tissue paper. No shower in the tub except for a handheld spray arm which was very inconvenient and difficult to use. There is no partition between the bedroom and bathroom and no door on the bathroom so all noises can be heard throughout the room. Also, the stairs up to the room are extremely large so it is difficult to navigate without substantial effort. Finally, the riad is located in a difficult place to find and down a corridor of narrow alleys that are not well lit.”
