the suite is as described - a stunning room. breakfast each morning was wonderful and the orange juice memorable! Service a delight and on arrival, Rashid's introduction / orientation for the medina is the kind of service all hotels should aspire to. Dinner was one of the best meals we had in Marrakech.
Style and atmosphereStaff were greatChef was amazing
the staff and the the tranquility away from the circus that is marrakesh
Decor, large well appointed room. Comfy sun loungers. Good location. Excellent breakfast. Great housekeeping/cleaning
I cannot recommend Riad 72 enough. My partner and I travelled to Marrakech on the occasion of a big festival of contemporary art -- and Riad 72 was the most peaceful oasis to stay in during this busy time. Don't believe the other review - I've never met a most personal and lovely hotel team! Everyone we met was extraordinary. Upon arrival, I was greeted by M. Rachid, who was so kind and welcoming and sorted out my check-in while I sat in the internal courtyard having mint tea and biscuits he had offered. M. Aziz, who is in the hotel 24 hours, helped us with luggage, keys etc. and helped us to our driver when we departed. Mme Gaelle and her colleagues were extremely helpful when my telephone stopped working! The hotel building is gorgeous, in an old Riad elegantly refurbished - the rooms are really clean and spacious. Our stay was so pleasant, from breakfast (heavenly, handmade breads and sweets and yoghurts, fruit salads etc) to the pillows and shower. Location is perfect, 3 minutes' walk from Dar el Bacha (every taxi driver knows it), in the Medina. I am already planning another trip to Marrakech in a few months' time and will definitely stay in this hotel.
