Everything was fantastic with the exception of the spa. Three of us had made reservations several days before for treatments, yet only 1 reservation seemed to be in the system. With the schedule fully booked, we finally managed to squeeze in at less than ideal times to get a treatment (not the ones originally scheduled due to lack of availability). There was little apology, a lot of stress, and then just a "we're having problems with our computers." That was truly disappointing as the spa was one of the main reasons we chose to stay at the Standard.

The Miami Standard exceeded our expectations. The entire hotel and grounds were so VERY clean and the decor was hip and chic,as well as relaxing, and added to the experience. The service was EXCELLENT,and the staff was so friendly, from the front desk to the pool to the spa. The pool by the bay was one of my favorite places at the hotel. The food was so wonderful and healthy, and I loved being able to wear our spa robes to dinner in the restaurant! That is a vacation! We went to South Beach several times, but were glad we were not staying there.

Great everything about this hotel especially given the rate.... only downside is the mud bath you have to get through to get to the front door... apparently this has been going on a while.

Very over-rated. The crowd staying at the hotel was decent but the staff was not impressive at all. Other than the rooms, the rest of the faciltiy needs a lot of improvements and especially the entrance. The spa was very satisfying but shoul be more emphasized since the rest of the hotel is very unsuccesfully in terms of customer satisfaction.

the rooms are VERY noisy, and the cleaning staff are always chatting (in very loud voices)right outside the room early in the morning, its highly annoying. Otherwise, the hotel is lovely, the food good (though not as good as before) and the staff friendly and helpful.

Il room service era scarso. Sempre la segreteria telefonica on.

the room was nice but quite small and the bed was very small by american standards. but the pool and facilities were fantastic, as was the service.

This is probably my favorite hotel is the USA. I love the spa and could stay their all day and love the outside resterant at night. Some other reviews said that the staff were rude or not helpful, but I though they were super nice. The location is closer to main SoBe than you'd think. You can walk or borrow one of their bikes.

The Standard Miami is a "secret tip" and I for one hope it stays that way!!! It is an eccentric choice being not on Ocean Drive and in a strange butnot out of the way location but once past the third world (could be Lagos or Nairobi) drive and entrance it is the best hotel in Miami in Miami in my view! very simple, nothing overdone, rooms basic but sufficient and with a terrific spa, yoga programme and treament and beauty rooms. Its afficianados do not want it to become too well known and as I go to Mimai a lot (family, business and pleasure) I have now found my perfect digs!

Everything about our stay at The Standard (Miami) was superior. The atmosphere was fabulous and luxurious, the staff attentive, the rooms comfortable and how awesome are the outdoor tubs!, spa heavenly, and the location ideal. We will definitely go back and loved every minute of our stay there.

We have been to this hotel 4X in a year and a half. Rhe rooms are ok and the service are ok, we lov, love ,love the poola and the grounds. The food is fantastic and the service connected to the restaurant and pool area is great. I look forward to laying out by the pool, looking out on the bay and having cute guys serve me great food and drinks.

I always enjoy my stay at the Standard and look forward to my next visit! Body lotion should be added in a travel size in the bathrooms. I loved my gift of fruit and water when I came back from the gym. I thoroughly enjoyed my food at the pool and the prompt waitstaff. Until next time...
