  1. “I have stayed at the International House several times since it was built. I liked it more in the early years, but I still like it quite allot. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable. The rooms are very stylish, clean, and well serviced. The facilities and furniture are showing their age, but the facilities are still of the highest quality, so this is not a huge problem. I would recommend the International House.”

  7. “Loved the location! Loved the space and service. We were in New Orleans during Mardi Gras, so it was a great serene environment to walk back into. Would definitely recommend to others.”

  8. “We booked a rock star room at a very good price, under 100, and were upgraded to a 5th floor room without even asking. I was leaving a hotel that I was required to stay in due to a conference, and checking in early (about 1:00 pm) to IH. We were pleasantly surprised that they allowed us to check in immediately. There are nothing but positives to report on this hotel. The hotel was extremely clean and inviting. It is in a very clean area just outside the French Quarter, within a very easy walking distance to the same. The staff was very helpful and friendly and went out of their way to make sure we didn't need anything. There is a cute little bar attached to the hotel lobby, although we opted to pick up our own drinks at the local grocery, Rouses. The restaurant across the street, Commerce, has some of the best and reasonably priced food we've eaten in NOLA. Some prior reviews looked a little iffy, but I can honestly say I am extremely glad we chose IH, and when in the area, we would 100% stay here again.”

  10. “Good location, upgraded room for $30 which was fair since the regular room was so low priced and wanted a larger room. Quiet rooms, nice bar and lobby area.”
