Had never been to NOLA before and needed a place for me, my husband and our 10 best friends for one day/night of exploration. I had no idea what we were getting ourselves into, but everyone seemed pleased with the chic digs and warm staff. Loa Bar was the perfect spot to meet up before heading out on the town, and the comfortable rooms were welcoming at the end of a long night. A Mac set up in the lobby helped us greatly as we planned our next location.

The thing that attracts me most to hotels, aside from the usual considerations of cost and style, are the people. After reading the reviews, I thought this just might be the place for me and was delighted to discover that I was correct. The International House staff are the sort that remember you, your name, your room number. They're the type that make you feel not like you're staying in a hotel where you're just a number, but a residence of sorts where you are a friend. And the accommodations! Oh, the accommodations. Room 1008 was utterly beautiful with giant windows that lined two sides of the space. I could have moved in, were I a globe-trotting millionaire, but as I'm not, I will be overjoyed when presented with the opportunity to return to such a gracious and comfortable place.

It was beautiful in the public spaces. The service was impeccable, they went well beyond the norm to help us out and even moved us without any fuss when our room was unsatisfactory.

The atmosphere was fabulous!!! The rooms were wonderful and room service provided for all our needs. My husband and I also enjoyed the complimentary drinks that were provided. We will definitely stay at a Tablet Hotel when we travel again!!!!

Great atmosphere, great bar with yummy cocktails. The room was nice and the bed very comfortable. It was stylish and modern in look/feel, but still welcoming and comfortable. It was an easy walk to the french quarter, but out of the fray when we wanted to be.
