The rooms are clean and large with lots of light and minimal furniture. It felt calming and cleansing after coming back in from the hot, sweaty New Orleans streets. You 100% have to stay on the top floors on a weekend as the music from the bar is incredibly loud until the wee hours of the morning. Aveda products in the bathroom and ipod stereos are nice touches. The powerful air conditioning is great.

Lobby and bar are beautiful, the location near - but not inside - the French Quarter is perfect. Great rates.

This was our first boutique hotel - the interior space in the lobby was beautiful. The staff were really friendly and the bellhops remembered us each time we came and went. We used the hotel bar/lounge- ultra-hip and trendy feel. The bartender took the time to recommend drinks - which we received free with Tablet Plus membership. The front desk clerk recommended a creole restaurant that had just closed for dinner so we returned and he called to several places to ensure we had a reservation and a great meal.My girlfriend and I really liked the room - Swarovski crystal lighting fixture in bathroom, really great queen bed (very comfortable) and alarm clock with hook-up for ipods. The bathroom had a really great tub and the room overlooked the street nicely with big windows. Small room but the highish ceilings and the entranceway from door to sleeping area made it seem larger.
