very very cool rooms. the resto and bar were in the sister hotel down the block and they were filming a movie in town so the cast and crew were there having cocktails. that was fun. the hotel room was super cool i loved it.

I really enjoyed the hotel's unique character: poured concrete floors, sparse loft furnishings and high-tech accessories (wireless internet throughout, flatscreen TV, stereo) offset by a super comfy bed and luxurious, mod bath. Pay the extra for the cool tub. The hotel completely satisfied my artistic senses and my preference for unusual (but nice! :-) lodging. The bar was clearly a hot spot with the younger crowd on weekends. Critiques: the bar did not appeal to my personal tastes (too loud, and had a TV in it) and the public hallways were kept a bit too dim.

This is an odd hotel which feels more like renting an apartment which has a great novelty to it. The loft itself was truly beautiful but there are no facilities ie dining, room service, gym. This was not a problem but people should be aware. Rumour has it that you can order room service from the hotel next door but this turned out to be impossible. Also the staff were completely unhelpful which is completely unusual for an American hotel ie we were never able to get help with baggage (despite the timing of requests for this service we were always told that the staff were at lunch).

Amazing rooms with the most incredible furniture and lighting as well as state-of-the-art electronics. Great staff and the location is perfect.

the design was near flawless, if you like modern. i stay at many modern boutique hotels around the u.s. and this one was one of the most well designed i've stayed in. the rooms are very, very nice. concrete floors, flat screen, platform bed, etc.. the service was excellent and friendly and the location was ideal in that it is just far away enough from bourbon street and french qtr. as to not get much riff raff, but a short walk as well.

This was probably the biggest hotel room I have ever stayed in -- you won't feel claustrophobic here. Very stylish, great soaking tubs, and helpful if somewhat impotent service. There's a popular nightclub downstairs that is connected to the hotel lobby, so you can watch the beautiful people come and go.

Huge rooms with high ceilings and surround sound stereo. Double headed showers and Aveda products. Good desk with rolling chair. Nice drapery treatments.
