Very friendly staff with a very cool hip vibe. It's an upscale hotel but not stuffy for old people. Not crowded with tourists. I was there for work and didn't want to be around all the tourist activities.

Well appointed and well situated with a comfortable yet hip flair.

Style and attention to detail in the rooms and public spaces is premium. The size of the rooms for NYC is unusually large. The front of house staff are young, hip, and very friendly. The lobby space/lounge/breakfast room are for now very comfortable. Nice and edgy wheat pasted graphics on one wall of my room. Great Plaid bed coverings. All of the silkscreened printed touches on ironing board cover, iron bag, and other elements in the room (hangers, book, and mirror) are really well done. Especially like silkscreened super graphics at elevator landings.

The staff was so friendly...even housekeeping! I enjoyed the complimentary coffee, juice, croissant and paper in the beautiful lobby. I have never seen such a well stocked in-room fridge either. Thanks ACE!

The modern-vintage look and the comfortable room size were a must. We felt like true New-Yorkers.

great rooms (upgraded, but also looked at and liked the "cheap" rooms); had to hit mini-bar during extended rainstorm, and inclusion of ramen is brilliant; great public space and loved the coffee/croissant breakfast.

Loved the atmosphere and style of the hotel. Was upgraded to a larger room. Only hotel lobby/bar I've ever enjoyed hanging out in. Staff was friendly and cute and welcoming to my family. Good location. Loved that Stumptown Coffee was next door!
