I have used several hotel from your site. Chambers is a well staffed fun place with a good restaurant. BUT and this is a big but I will never stay there again. The bathroom is not designed for women. The lighting is really bad and no place (I mean no place) to put anything. When I asked if another room would be better - the front staff said "all wowmen complain about it".

I had stayed at the Chambers Hotel before. This time was nicer as I stayed in a bigger and much nicer room.

Location. Location. Location

Hotel was attractive, and staff pleasant. However, the location in mid-town is not ideal. Also, I couldn't figure out how to use the CD player in the room - and although i asked the staff to see if it was working properly, i'm not sure if they did so

The hotel was great and the staff was extremely accomodating! We could not have had a better experience. Thanks!

The staff at the front door and desk was very friendly and helpful in arranging restaurant reservations as well as valet service with my car. However someone stole all of my quarters out of my car which I found to be upsetting.

loved the handwritten welcome letter and thank you letter once I arrived home

Room not great, a bit dingy. I feel they used the excuse of "industrial=fashionable" to cut major corners in finish. Disappointed in concierge : friendly but had a better opinion of his skills than he could actually deliver. This was my biggest issue... a good concierge is worth his weight in gold. All the staff were polished and friendly. It's a fab location and very trendy. The restaurant was good for dinner, at the top end price wise. The lobby can be cold, as big doors open almost directly onto the street. In summary, best aspect is it's location, and staff are nice. Worst, room.

The front desk seemed to be very inflexible. I had a couple of what i felt to be reasonable requests and both were turned down with no alternatives offered other than an additional charge. The first had to do with a change to a bigger room to accommodate a 3rd person, I eventually had to get a second room at $400/night! The other was a couple of hours extension on the check out time - they wanted to charge a half day for that!

The location for a long weekend of shoppinng and hanging out was fantastic. The hotel was small and quite personal which is unusual for New York. The rooms were a very reasonably size and the beds/sheets where extremely comfortable which reduced the jet-lag to nil. A great stay!

The Chambers Hotel is very nice and well situated in New York for tourism. Atmosphere is very nice in the bar and restaurant. Rooms have the right size (not too small even the basic ones) with a "design" style. The only problem that I have to mention is the noisy ventilation systems that can be eared in the rooms on the back (I was at the 8th floor). So I would advise noise sensible people like me to ask for rooms giving on the street or on higher floors.
