“comfortable rooms: great beds, wonderful flat screen TV, great shower heads and I like the Fuji waters and chocolates at night. I wish an iron and ironing board was standard in the rooms (vs. having to call one from housekeeping) and that the bathrooms had more shelf space.”

“The hotel lobby is very sexy and warm. The room, however, was very small and at times I could hear word for word the conversations of the people in the adjacent room. My room was next to the elevator, which also caused loudish noises occasionally. As someone who lived in NYC for 6 years, however, I can understand completely that old buildings make noise and that space is at a premium. All that being said, the bathroom was quite nice and the shower was a great touch. Sheets were soft and the bed was very comfortable. Housekeeping was pleasant and thorough and the room was always clean.”

“Standard rooms surprisingly spacious, second floor lounge area an oasis. Far better breakfast at the hotel's Town restaurant than, say, at Balthazars - match to Sarabeths. Bargain if the location suits you!”

“No joke: The Chamber has the best bathrooms I've ever been in. I think I stayed in the shower (it's a rain/waterfall shower) for at least 20 mins--and I'm usually an in and out kind of guy.”
