“The room decor was "interesting" but dark and oppressive (even on the penthouse floor with three windows). Nice touches such as the crystal glassware were undermined by the limited wardrobe space (fine for an overnight with a change of underwear, woeful if, as we had, you've flown trans Atlantic for a 3 day weekend, with full suitcases to cope with changes for theatre, dinner, clubbing, shopping etc). The breakfast buffet on the roof terrace was appallingly limited. The roof terrace space could have been great, but the festoons of plastic ivy were offputting - wannabe Le Sirenuse meets K-mart.”
