  2. “First of all I find the rooms ridicuosly small, by any standards. Furthermore, the craftsmanship in the rooms are below what would be expected. The bathroom door could not be closed, bathroom shelfs were sagging/tilting, bathroom lights had a hole much to large for the installation. I had to ask four (4!) times in order to get an adapter for my laptop. So no, it wasn't a truly great experience, and I regret choosing it just because of the design. Room #1263”

  3. “I have stayed at Hudson several times before -- but this time was disappointed. One of the big mirrors that was supposed to be in the room was missing, but the framing pieces that had held it there were standing out starkly. There was no hairdryer in the room, and it took me over an hour to obtain one from housekeeping. There was also no "do not disturb" sign in the room.”

  4. “Overall, the hotel was adequate. The lobby and rooms were so dimly lit it was difficult to see properly (and I'm not that old!). The room I stayed in was only 9'x9'. The staff wasn't the most helpful I've encountered in a hotel. The night before I was to check out, I couldn't get an answer at the front desk or the concierge to request my bill. Strange that there was no one at all answering the phones. While we were there for 4 nights, the escalator to the the front door was broken-down more often than it not.”

  7. “I have stayed at ALL of the Morgans Group Hotels - The Sanderson, Mondrian, Delano, Clift, etc.. I have stayed at Hudson twice previously, and never encountered the problem that I endured this time: my room was unbearably cold - beyond frigid. I asked for service; after a long wait, the serviceman appeared to tell me that "if (he) turned on the heat in my room, then all the other nearby rooms would be affected, and since no one else is complaining, then I won't do it"!! He suggested that I call Housekeeping for a blanket, which I did; this took even longer to arrive. Bad attitude. Never again!”

  8. “The room was far to small especially if your closterphobic!however, the other facialities were exceptionally good but would not stay again in such a small room could not really relax. Also when leaving hotel found that the bell hop was rather rude to open taxi door and ask for a time when already given to reception!”

  9. “The hotel staff seems inadequate to handle the huge number of rooms and guest. Had to wait a long time to check in and check out. When calling the front desk from room, there was no answer after 2 minutes of ringing. Too many rooms to be a boutique hotel. Hotel wanted to charge for literally everything. Not a single thing is complimentary. Room was poorly cleaned. Dust everywhere.”

  11. “My only disappointment was our room...the beds were very uncomfortable. I got brown water that came out in my shower and I was disappointed in the room in general. I am used to small rooms in NYC such as the W, but this room had nothing to make up for it. They did have snacks, but no mini bar/fridge. very little in the way of products (shampoo, conditioner, lotion) and the bedding left much to be desired. The common spaces on the other hand were gorgeous, love the outside terrace, and the service was very good.”
