  1. “Arrived very late and tired. About 3am ceiling started leaking water. Thought it was from the rain but then found out is was the upstairs shower. Luggage and some of my clothes got wet. Was so tired I did'nt realize the magnitude of the problem. Called around 6am and they suggested we move. Told them I was not a happy camper and they gave me $250 off. Originally offered $100. Cheap Cheap Cheap!! They should of compted the room for that night.”

  6. “Had to change from my standard room because it was very small and spartan. Upgraded to a large room which had a lovely bathroom but the room was still very spartan, tired, no pictures, very dark. I had to ask for the dead flowers in my room to be changed and they were replaced with new dying orchids!asked for an additonal lamp which never came. Was there for three nights and could not sleep for any of the three nights. The beds were extremely uncomfortable.”

  10. “My only reservation was the lack of light both in the lobby area (which would be particularly oppressive in summer?)and particularly in the room, where it was difficult to find a place to read a book/newspaper etc. Otherwise a great experience, which I would repeat.”

  11. “the hotel needs a face lift in the rooms. They are dated. the public spaces such as the bar are still great. the service couldn't have been better. whatever we requested they did immediately.”

  12. “I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Royalton and it included dinner at the Lobby restaurant - equally pleasurable. My guest room had just the right amount of luxe touches with economy of space. The only improvements I can think of would be a wall-mounted plasma TV and a pillow-top mattress (mine was a bit too hard). Great room ameneties!”
