“The downtown location was charming & perfect, especially if you're traveling for pleasure with Tribeca, Soho, West Village all within walking distance. Price at the time was also comparable to less well-appointed & well-heeled hotels in City. The newness of the hotel was also a plus, as often boutique hotels get shabby after being open for a few years. (Although I've found that's not true with the other Thompson Hotels.)”

“The rooms were fantastic and spacious - I didn't have a view but it didn't feel like I was squeezed between two buildings and A/C equipment. Loved the rain shower and the beautiful tile - good design.”

“I loved everything about the hotel...specifically the fact that they gave us a room with a beautiful terrace overlooking the city. It made the stay absolutely spectacular. That, and they really went out of their way to make sure our stay was a pleasant one...super helpful staff, gorgeous room; I have stayed at many hotels in New York, but this was by far and away the best.”
