“The Bowery Hotel was really excellent. The room was very good and the staff was attentive, polite, gracious, and smart. Really excellent service - almost like you'd find in the nicer Asian hotels. While the decor of the common areas didn't quite agree with my taste, the superior service, good location, and very nice room with a spectacular view more than made up for it.”

“The Bower Hotel was unique in that it exudes (drips) with coolness, yet maintains a top-notch service environment. All too often, the "hip" hotels also include indifferent, inept and/or arrogant staff. The Bowery is a rare jewel.”

“The Bowery Hotel, sister to the Maritime Hotel, finds her own sense of style and grace amidst the competitive world of NYC hotels. I loved the plush, elegantly old feeling treatment of the property - from the lobby to the rooms, I felt as if I was in some other time and place. My room had nice hardwood floors, a generous view of the neighboring buildings/rooftops and a wonderful shower that I never wanted to leave. With a location that put me steps away from SOHO, the Lower East Side and Chinatown - I'll be returning to the Bowery as soon as I can.”

“We were visiting our son, who lives in the Lower East Side, so the location was perfect. Our room was spacious, had a nice view and lots of natural light. The blackout shades allowed us to sleep late on sunny mornings.Room service was prompt.”
