  3. “we ate in the hotel restaurant twice and both times orders had to be sent back because they were wrong. The TV remote did not work properly. The white noise was great.”

  4. “Clean, comfortable rooms with top-notch linens, towels and pillows - very comfy. Climate controls were excellent. I had the Grand King, includes a CD/Clock Radio, plasma tv, dvd player, and desk/workspace with an Aeron chair. Wireless internet was $10/24 hours. Due to ambient noise from the large atrium (including bar and restaurant) of which all 8 floors of hotel rooms are situated around - each room comes with a noise dampening system, which basically blasts white noise at your desired volume, I found this easy to sleep to. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Canal St subway is one block.”

  5. “I loved the room and the amenites (music system, toiletry products, comfy bathrobes, coffee bar on each floor) but my bathroom floor needed a good vacuuming. There were long black hairs all over the floor.”

  6. “I liked this hotel. I would stay here again. The location was excellent. The staff was friendly and service was great. Room was fairly spacious for NYC and equipped w/ good tech toys. Thot food/room service was prompt but quality was fair. Nothing outstanding and thot that wireless internet should be free.”

  7. “over all it was fine .. i tink i had higher expectations. The sheets on the bed were torn which surprised me. The bathroom seemed old and a bit run down. The biggest dissappointment was breakfast: cold coffee, incorrect order, very runny (watery) scrambled eggs .. over all just and OK experience.”

  8. “I had requested a non-smoking room, but got a smoking room which smelled (obviously) but was also dirty. There were no non-smoking rooms available on Oct. 21st, but we were upgraded to a big non-smoking suite the following 2 nights, which was wonderful - it was newly renovated. So the first night was fair, but the last two nights were excellent. The service was great and the staff was very reponsive. I was pleasantly surprised how quiet it was. I've stayed at a couple other boutique hotels in Soho which have been very loud. My only complaint is the poor lighting in the rooms and bathroom”

  10. “Please note that the entire staff was wonderful except for the young man working the concierge desk. He was on the phone with another employee discussing a guest and failed to acknowledge my presence for over 1 minute. I finally ended up walking away and going to the front desk for help where I received it promptly.”
