“It was a really stylish and individual hotel. The staff were particularly good and made a big effort to be helpfull at all times. We really enjoyed our stay and would definately reccommend the Hi Hotel to other travellers. The roof top pool was an extra bonus with live DJ and singer at the weekend.”

“Hi hotel is well designed, provides great service, great music, and is located reasonably close to the prominant areas in Nice. The rooftop pool and view alone makes the hotel great. The only downside is the room size, especially at the nightly room cost.”

“The hotel is interesting in appearance and approach! There is no room service and the bedrooms are served by one of the slowest lifts on the continent. As a result, the simple task of fetching a bottle of wine from the restuarant can take what seems like days.Front of house staff are pleasent and efficient. We had a terrace room. The double bath in the middle of the room was a surprise, but interesting.However there was no proper shower, just one of this ludicrous hand held things that requires you to squat in the bath to prevent a tsunami flowing through the bedroom...”

“The Hi Hotel was a great, and very different hotel experience. The public spaces were calming and contemporary, with a relaxed atmosphere - I was travelling on my own and dining in the restaurant/bar at the long table meant that conversation was easy amongst strangers. The food was very good, fresh, organic, lots of it, very attentive and friendly service. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and great to be able to take it all up to the room. Loved my bed, loved the shower being part of the room. And the massage was superb!”

“Positively Nutty design in some rooms. Fun but some of these rooms would be hugely unsuitable for a couple with any sense of modesty or privacy! Picture a toilet in the middle of the room, in CLEAR class cubicle, up THREE stairs to give a commanding view of the room. Hysterical if you're in the room alone. A little more embarrassing with a new girlfriend!! A discreet request to change rooms for one with more conventional bathroom was met with complete understanding however. Staff were nice. Very comfortable beds and comforters (duvets). Price very reasonable.”
