  1. “The resort was jsut what we were looking for - a quiet, private mid-century modern resort that offered a true get away from the work week. The rooms are very minimal, a simple but very comfortable bed, chair, nelson bubble lamp and a space heater, which came in very handy as some nights were quite chilly. A small kitchen with a microwave was attached to our room which was a life saver, as we arrived late from LA because of traffic and we ended up going to the local Vons to buy wine, cheese and soup for a romantic dinner. The hot springs were theraputic and the massage very relaxing.”

  2. “Amazing place, more akin to having your own modernist villa than a hotel per-se. It really is a special atmosphere.”

  3. “Hope Springs is very relaxing and a good place to get a way from it all. It's very quiet and easy to relax. It was not a Palm Springs pool scene.”

  4. “It is so mellow and relaxing here, I was really sorry to leave. The rooms are minimally modern, and by day 2 I felt like a zen master. The temperature of all three pools was perfect. The other guests were intriguing, polite, and quietly friendly. I would recommend making the short trip to Pappy & Harriet's to see local bands and eat BBQ while you're there. I will definitely go back.”

  6. “Hope Springs has a quiet, relaxing atmosphere. The architecture and decor is tasteful mid-century modern. The landscaping boasts an interesting variety of cacti and palms. The healthy breakfasts of fine cheeses, breads, hard boiled eggs, granola, and fresh fruits were delicious. Soaking in the mineral pools was absolutely heavenly.”

  10. “It was an amazing small hotel, with only ten rooms. With three pools, a sauna, spa, and swimming available, all fed through hot springs, no matter when you took a dip, the water was refreshing.Breakfast was served from 8 - 10, but even on very late mornings, we always had food available. We got a room with a kitchen, which allowed us to have lunch without leaving, which we always were slow to do. The courtyard was pleasant, with plenty of sun and shade available, depending on your preference. All of the rooms felt removed from each other, allowing for a fair amount of privacy, even in a small space. We will definitely be going back.”
