Book a larger room since the small ones are extremely small

Great hotel - new owners who have improved both the service and the ambience - the service was professional unlike many "design" hotels where great-looking staff provide mediocre service - The Lancaster has great charm and is an adult hotel without being stuffy - we'll stay there again - only complaint is the less than charming location

I was very favorably impressed by the politeness and friendliness of the staff, especially at reception. They make one feel really welcome - quite an achievement for Paris. This was a very short stay, only 24 hours, so I was unable to really appreaciate the facilities and service. The overall feeling was pleasant, so I would most likely go back for a longer stay.

Great location and just a really beautiful, old, classy place. Service could not be better.

The restaurant was excellent. I enjoyed my lunch there very much.

The front desk staff and concierge were some of the best and most hospitable ever. We loved just hanging out at the lounge at the hotel because the service was so great. The restaurant staff was outstanding and the food was great. We have told all of our friends about this hotel and definately will be back!

Gorgeous building; fantastic service; great breakfast

I liked the traditional nature of the building and interiors. The style was classic old French "grande maison". The service was truly impeccable. The rooms are a bit frumpy and musty. The bathrooms are renovated and lovely. The carpet in the bedroom was a bit stained. Smoking is allowed in the rooms which I think is a bit too "classic".

Loved the room, the furnishings and the staff which paid attention to all the small details. Everything about the room and the service was first class, except...

Its old world charm, stones throw from Champs Elysee at George V. Very business convenient. The lobby and public facilities are a treasure. Rooms are very large and nicley refurbished to preserve aire of a residence rather than a hotel - 3 meter ceilings with plenty of closets. ipod radio and very comfortable beds. Staff greets you by your first name and is attentive to all your business needs.

Great staff - beautiful common areas - rooms very nice if traditional - nice bathroom and korres products - lovely comfortable beds and bedding.
