L'Hotel was the perfect place to spend a long weekend to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday. The room, although a tad small, had great character and a good feel. The public areas are particularly captivating and beautifully decorated. St Germain Des Pres is a short walk to the major attractions and the area is perfect for art lovers.

L'Hotel is superbly situated. It's a very unique and "sexy" hotel. We had room 40, which is hge by European standards. The bathroom was grogeoues and very practical. However, during our 3 day stay in early July we had no air conditioning because the equipment was not functioning. No repairs had been made as of the time we left. Very uncomfortable, although the staff did provide a fan for each room, and was very apologetic. They did take off a substantial amount from the final bill to account for this impass. I would stay in this hotel again - I'd just make sure the A/C was working!

It was a very happy vist . I am a single person who travels a fair bit and likes a bit of style . It was a charming hotel the room number 12 wasnt big and taken up most with a bed . which i am pleased to report was very comfy . it had a big walk in closet and a marble bathroom with a wonderfull bath . except i would say that if you had any kind of back proplems it would be fairly tricky to get in and out off . the hotel had room servioce which was prompt and a swiming pool which i dint use . all in all i would be more than happy to go back again .

Great public spaces. Would have preferred turndown service in a hotel such as this.

L'Hotels main attraction is simply its location. Though the rooms are all different, we had one that was a bit too different for us. Every ounce of it was covered with mirrors. We also went in August, so their restaurant, renowned for being incredible, was closed, as were many others. Don't go in August!

The rooms at L'Hotel are very small but comfortable. The location is excellent.

Why i did not like the room was due to their size. For the price the rooms were too small as well as a little dirty. overall it was a pleasant stay.

maybe i expected too much, the hotel was an disappointment. the overall atmosphere was ok but the condition of the room and the service did not live up to its reputation. i stayed in the room 'oscar wilde', the queen size bed was a bit small. but the worse thing was the bathroom - it had a serious leak (i mean really serious, that the water actually poured from the ceiling!). i made a report to the conciege but their maintainence work didn't work at all. my wife is a movie actress and i am sure she will express her disappointment about the hotel in her next media interview.

just the right feel for an overnight stay in paris ,convenient position nice district, hotel is quaint and romantic though a little shabby and cramped in places but loads of character would stay again, the rate via tablet was a good saving.

Very charming Hotel and decor. The Concierge is nothing special but all the people are professional and friendly

Concierge services are limited - the woman at the desk did not know where American express was for another client and could only recommend 1 local restaurant for us. Rooms were very small but well-appointed and comfortable

fantastic location, charming but petite rooms. Great style - one of a kin
